IN the process of spraying my ute took it back to steel and should come up good(i didnt think a little car would feel so big to do)But the tray will look a little sad any thoughts??/pictures

A few ute's that I've seen have been done in "Spackle Coat". It's like a rubberised spray-on coating & you can change the thickness & match the colour to the body. Protects your tray too.
I have a brochure here somewhere, I can dig up if you're interested.

I think stone guard is like hammer coat, which sets hard. This stuff remains at a rubbery consistency after it's set. You can view topic.
