checked out the details on this cruise .... looks like a good one if any of the 1200 brigade are interested in mixing it up with z's, roadsters & the like as well as newer nissans along the Great Ocean Rd.
from talking to the guy organising it there could be anywhere between 10 to 30 odd cars !!!

i reckon a few 1200 dattos would fit in just nice

alright all you melbourne datto fans !!! this is the cruise you wanted last year but no one could organise !!! it sounds like a good one to be involved in, and as mentioned in the earlier post by moi, there could be upto or beyond 30 cars in it.

this time there's no excuses and you've all got time to get your cars in order !!!!!

also, if your inerested this cruise is named after a top bloke, a fantastic datto mechanic and racer, and good friend who died well before his time .... and it's his fault i've spent the last 10 odd years of my life, pouring $$$$ into dattos to make them go faster

if you're incapable of clicking the the link posted by lurch .... here are the details in brief : the run starts at westgate shell, out bound, 7:00am. arrive anglesea around 8:30. get to apollo bay about 10:30 leave around 11:00. out to lavers hil and back to apollo bay. then a couple choices back to melbourne.l

Theres going to be quite a few from Ozdat coming along too.
Also, a large part of the GOR has just been resurfaced, and according to a mate who lives at Lorne, the is bugger all traffic on there ATM.

4nik8s rotauta would've been nice to see and maybe ooonnne day that twin turboof 1200rc's 'll be running spot on but there's gotta be someone else out there ????????

i'll back up lurch's comments on the condition of the road ... alot of the CORNERS have been resurfaced and the camber of the road adjusted for better cornering speeds .........

Guys, according to Buckle (who lives in Lorne) the Traffic on the GOR will be stuffed.
The long WE + the Apollo Bay Music festival will be causing a traffic nightmare. MASSIVE police presence around the GOR as well.
Boof, do you have any information reguarding this???
If this is indeed the case, I will NOT be going.
Maybe some other time...
