Perhaps you could be a little more specific as "GM" covers Chev, Pontiac, Buick, Oldsmobile, Cadilac, LaSalle, Opel, Vauxhall & Holden. Probably a few others that i have forgotten too. In that group, during the last 100 years, there have been quite a number of diferent bolt patterns.
Ford too have at least four bolt patterns including the one that they copied from Chrysler corp in '49 [& still use]. Is there something wrong with the 4-1/2" four stud pattern that Datsun & Toyota use,... for your application?

should have been a bit more specific sorry
the 5 stud pattern i require is either "modern" ford pattern i think its 114.3 same as current falcons hilux uteshiace vans 5 stud nissan pattern ie R32 Z32 280c 300c etc etc the reason for the change is the wheels i have are multistud for ford or GM, the car is running a hilux rear which is 5 stud already just need to convert the front the gm stud pattern the wheels suit is modern commodore HQ pattern gm not torana style i jsut bought a pair of 180b struts for $40 as i seen these used in many conversions but if there is different ways i am open to suggestions

The so called, "modern Ford" pattern is actually 4-1/2" PCD & was copied in 1949 from the Dodge Plymouth pattern of 1932. They obviously got it right as everyone seems to have adopted it. Chrysler corp have used it continuously since then, & still use it as far as i know, so i guess it's really a Mopar pattern.
There are some who have successfully done this conversion, but i'm not one of them. Hopefully you will get a constructive reply.

scroll down to Ford Brake Conversion. 200B and Falcon wheelbearings are in fact the same, but I take no responsibility for the other info there - its up to you to check it out before buying expensive parts only to find it isn't quite as easy as it sounded. I'd be looking for a more common caliper to do the job too! Let us know how you go!

I've heard that using Silvia stuff is a possibility with the stanza (A10) lower arms.
I've not done it, I don't condone it, It's evil...

I might be missing something here, but aren't Silvia 4/114.3 as well?
I've seen (and driven) a Silvia (S13 I think) front end in a 1200 - they used the silvia control arm as well - it had some "issues". Stopped well though. You can view topic.
