why RB20's and not an SR20?? RB are dogs of engines.

I haven't heard of someone doing it without modding the firewall.

Isn't the RD20 a 2L straight six??? if so then i don't think it would fit unless you didn't want to run a radiator or intercooler

Cheers

2 words,.... No Chance. The 4 Cylinder CA18 just fits.

The RB20 is an anchor of a motor anyway.

not without cutting

Also way to heavy

if you want a nice cheap two liter use L20

other wise the Ca would be better

Also on that topic, well kinda, would a KA24DE fit in a 1600 or a 1200?? Ive never seen it done, and yes i know that the KA is no match for a well built CA or SR but its all about the different factor....

KA is based on a Z series block whicjh is based on a L series block so it should also you can get KA24de engines from importers these have something like 140hp with 150ftlbs

this would make a awsome ute engine

you could fit the rb easily without cutting the firewall, as long as u cut the radiator support out and had the engine sticking 2 foot out the front

An RB engine in a 1200 would be a front mount and a mid mount.

I agree RB20 turbo skylines out here in AUS were crap. They had no go and were heavy.
