I got some struts of a datsun laurel recently and want to put them on my 1200. wat bottom ball joint and rod end will have to use so it works with the new struts steering arms??
![]() ![]() ps..they look very much like Z struts. The idea is to use the longer bottom arm with modifications for the new bolt on ball joint etc... how long would the bottom arm have to be a achieve around 4-6degrees of negative camber??? front tyres are 7" wide. ![]() ![]() thanks.

its a bit of a weird request mate. who has a laurel, let alone wants to put its brakes in a 1200?
use simple trig maths to work out how much extra length the arms need to give you the camber you require. in my experience 8-10mm is one degree. good luck!

8-10 seems about rite, i did 16mm redrill on my escort Xmember and got 1.5 extra negative camber....
