A series Internals: what breaks?

just curious to what people have broken in there engines, weather it was from over reving or running to much boost or whatever, just handy to know when building hot engines.
what do you's think? i personally know, the pistons arnt that great when running boost, and the gearbox coz i busted 4 so far.

the only thing i used to break was the rod bolts but that was fixed with 351w ,arp, bolts. and i rev my motors hard .also if u are going for revs change the pistons to good after market ones .

try to use genuine lifters
and good pistons

yeah ,the stock pistons cant handle too much stress. I used to have a problem with the ring lands breaking between the rings.

you guys must really rape your a series! cos i used to valve bounce my a12 and pull burnouts and i still havent killed it yet!. but its a little worn out now so im puting an a14 in with a 5spd.
