greetings fellow datto freaks!!!

i have played enough with the exa now(127.5kw) and need to spend some more time on the volkssan, i want to make a sidies manifold for the a-14. has anyone ever made on? is it easy? or have you got plans for it?

i want to remove the deck plate, which should take the compression to the 180psi mark fit the electronic ignition and side draughts to it and maybe a few other minnor mods.

why make one when they are so easy to get and arent all that expensive?

they are very expensive here in the U.S. too. They were not used here except for high performance purpose. down draft manifolds are what is common here ,and that sux,lol

They cannot be that expensive.
I phoned Carburator city in Jo'burg last week as I want to put two 40 sidedraft webers on my GX cylinder head.
They charged me R650 (South African) for a brand new manifold.
Phone them.
I also thought about letting someone make one but think it will be better to buy one that is made to correct specs.

What are you going to do with regard to electronic ignition?
