drove past pick-a-part in kenwick today and saw a 1000 sitting there. don't know how long its been there, but i think its a newbie, as i haven't seen it there before.

pretty sure its a sedan.

There are 2
1 is a 2 door sedan thats now missing the bumper,grille.headlight surrounds and front suspension. Thats all in my shed right now.
The other is a 4 door sedan but I ran out of time to pull things off of that one.
The 2 door has a 1200 4 speed box in it I was thinking of grabbing but didn't
Might have to go back for a diff centre next weekend.

I know it is slightly off topic guys, but has anyone seen a clean 120Y shell around ? I'm trying to get my hands on a basically sounds shell I can transfer everything from my sedan into (A14, 5spd, DGV, audio, etc)

dunno about clean, but theres 5 or 6 120y shells there as well. probably not the cheapest place to get one from.

2 1000's at the same wrecker! There hasn't been a 1000 at any wreckers here in canberra since 1969!!

Already had someone ask for indicator stalk, speedo cable and handbrake cable.

If you could see if there is a 120Y coupe shell and if it is worth salvaging, I'd appreciate it.

Recent posts have also told us of a quantity of them in a wreckers just down the road in Cooma and there is supposed to be still one, and possibly more, in a yard in Waterloo st Queanbeyan, which is only about 5k from Canberra. That one was still there about 4 months ago.

None since 1969. Maybee you should leave your dik alone and get out more and look.

I was told yesterday by a guy that works for nissan that some guy went in there and tried to lift a three car stack with a bottle jack, cars crushed his legs and now jap parts is crushing off cars to pay compo... just a rumour.
