are there datsun parts in India?
Posted on: 2005/11/8 22:04
im heading out to india for a couple of weeks and will be on the lookout for datsun parts... my friends there tell me old car parts are cheap... like $2 aussie for a crby in good nick etc.... distributors are cheap too.
Im wondering if there are any Indian dato lovers out there with the inside info for electronic distributors etc over there.... i will be looking in my spare time!

Unfamilia,
I haven't been there for a few years but have been over there 4 times and never seen a Datsun. However if you are going further North to Nepal then you would definitly be in luck - they are ( or were ) still there. Don't forget your diarrhoea tablets- remember its not a matter of if, but when.... Cheers Dave

as for the gearbox... mmmm unless i can hide it through customs... i dont think so.....only going to get what i can carry lightly as dont want to be rubber gloved by customs either... by 1200rc, thats another thing,,,, sorry dato girl.

Don't know about India, but there's a member here from Pakistan (the guy with a Arnold avatar and Mein Kempf quote).
