rack and pinion steering

hello peoples, hope i'm not asking a repeatedley asked question but..... has any one put a rear mounted rack and pinion setup in a datsun 1200. If so how'd you (they) go about it??? I'm trying to do an engine conversion (commodore V6) and want the extra room.... any help would be appreciated.
