is it worth it?

know a guy whos willing to sell his 1200 sedan, its ridgey didge, owners took great care of it, garaged, cleaned and waxed all its like, cant find any rust, its straight and paint looks good..
hes asking $3000 i think its a good price what do u guys think?

Do you want this car? Is it in good condition for its age? Can you afford it?
If the answer to these questions is yes, then ask yourself another one, do you think you can find another one as good, for less? [anytime soon] If this answer is no, then make an offer on the car. Don't get too stingy about it with a silly offer, but perhaps $2,500 may be enough to make it yours. Worth a try, but be prepared to go to the full asking price in increments if the owner won't budge.

yeh im going to sell my wagon and buy it... i want a sedan anyways. i must say its hard parting with my wagon tho, its so cool with its sun roof

$3000 seems fair if it's in very good condition both mechanically and body wise.
