hey all, i have a datsun 1000 sedan and i have recently gone to get a couple of quotes to re-do my interior, ( 4 doors, roof lining, dash, back dash, carpet, back seat, 2 front seats) the whole lot, i got quoted for around $3500 to $4500 for velour and $4500 to $5500 for leather trim, are these prices ok? or should i be looking else where? both quotes where from canberra.

Hell yeah thats expensive, should be around $1500 for a full retrim, but then depends if seats are to be resprung etc. Dashes pads cost around $150 to get restored

try your local trade school you will find them taking on projects all the time they might beable to help . shop around
5000 thats nearly enough for a house loan

Do some shopping round mate. Thise prices are over the top. Make sure you know exactly what you want and can clearly explain your plan to them. If you come across as a dreamer they will give you a silly quote.

That way to expensive i got my ute done carpet, roof lining velour, door trims velour with custom emprodery, sun visers velour cost me $700 so even if you double that due to it bein a sedan its no where near these prices your gettin or triple its only just over 2K.
