You are bidding on a 1971 Datsun 1200 coupe . I have owned this car since 2001.Engine runs great! Smokes a little when the accelerator is floored, but otherwise has plenty of pep.Engine has had a recent ring and valve job, and sounds tight. 4 speed tranny shifts great! New clutch , Timing chain,water pump carburetor, fuel pump also. Car has a Plymouth Prowler metallic dark purple Urethane paint job. Not a professional paint job, but it still looks great! Upholstery is in good condition. Dashboard was previously cracked, but covered with truck bedliner coating. It looks respectable. Small splits in front seats, but the back seat is flawless.Small rust holes in front floorboard have been treated and repaired with epoxy resin and fiberglass and painted with a rust proof black sealer. The car started out as a yellow ugly duckling when I got it 5 years ago, but it is almost complete. I have lost interest in the project, and need the room that it takes sitting in my garage.
