I have just put a pair of cobra daytonas in the ute fixed back race seats. they are not really the best thing size wise but are very comfy and supportive so good for driving not getting in and out of. had them re trimmed in vynal total price of seats and re trim was about $600 ( ebay is great for bargins). remeber to take into account the modifications you need to do to the rails to get after market seats to fit ( I have a 6 mm aluminim sheet that covers the surface area of the seat rails and bolts to the seat from undernieth) There are so many after market and other seats from other cars that are cool your choice is unlimited and it also depends on the budget.

I have seen the GTI seats in a 1200 sedan.
They looked good in there. The gti seats are getting old now. i had one for awile and all the seats i saw were always saged.

Ive got OBX Monaco's buckets in mine, i think there prob the best choice, as there still a small seat so they dont look huge in the tiny datto utes, cost me 300 each. They were a universal fit and they bolted straight up.. Very happy

Yup, they call them MX-5 's here. Any mods required at all? I have used subi impreza gx (i think, jap import stuff) look good but took a bit of work on the rails to get them to fit.

GTi seats aren't particulary supportive. I have a pair of OBX Daytona seats in my ute which bolted up to the factory seat rails. These seats are an imitation of one of the fixed back Sparco seats. If you're on a budget they are a good option.
