what condition is the GT17 in? shaftplay?

I know most of these come off >2ltr saabs and have often had a hard life, so finding em in good nick is hard

yeah that's apparently where it came from. has a mm or two of play in the shaft. no evidence of oil in either housing. I paid $60 for it way back when these were doing the rounds. I don't know if its any good or not - there seem to be varying rumours about them, but I've never met anyone who actually used one. I can't tell you wether its any good or not - your call. I use it for decoration around the workshop myself
