after recently aquiring a mint 1200 sedan i have no been faced with a big dilemma...

it has perfect rechromed bumpers and also overiders..
but no holes to mount them??
should i drill the holes in my presious bumpers to fit the overiders???

at the moment im thinking "do it" but i need a little encouragment..

The bar will rust around the drilled holes unless you paint them or get them rechromed. Don't do it, would be my advice.

Hold onto the overriders and sell them to someone else at a tidy profit.

im not really keen on the epoxy idea.
i really don't want them flying off on the highway...
maybe they will have to stay in the box till i get a spare set of bumpers that i am not woried about drilling..

i looked and i still say dont kill the bumpers. if there that straight get spares & put them on acedents do happen

I say fit them and paint the holes and rust wont be a problem, You have nearly every option and accessory that is available for the 1200, when that car started out it had no heater,one sunvisor, a solid steering column, drum brakes it is now a full GX model right down to genuine GX bonnet and bootlid and factory tinted glass.
if your worried on screwing it up practice on an old bar first and get the correct measurements from the dudes in the states
but in the end it is your car.
