can i put a h190 in my 1200 coupe?

i can get a h190 for free and was just wondering was there anything that i had to do to the car to get it to fit (housing and all as i know that the centre wont fit in a ute housing). i am currently running a h165 4.11 lsd (which destroyed itself a couple of weeks ago and cost me $600 to get a new pinnion bearing and lapped in
)if anyone could help that would be great thanks i run stanza front struts so it looks under tyred in the rear

whats the diff out of?
series III bluebird would be way too wide i feel gazelles have a H190 dont they, narrower than a B'bird welding the spring mounts on is not hard

Woody I wouldnt bother with the H190 in your coupe the H165 should do the trick nicely.
There is a fair bit of work in fitting a H190 even though the diff you have is the right width the brakes have to be modifed, handbrake and also some body work above the diff as the H190 is a lot fatter and also quite a lot heavier. With a tough A series H165 should be ample as long as you dont abuse it too much. Cheers Andrew You can view topic.
