The 2006 Pittsworth sprints were held on the 22 & 23 of Sept .
Rod Gray in his SuperCharged /Turbo 1200 coupe was the out right winner with a 40.06 sec run ,which was enough to brake the track record ,which Michael Lake held in a 1275cc Suzuki powered open wheeler Special ,
Cameron Freeman in the Same Green 1200 Coupe finnished 2nd outright in a 40.33 sec run ,
The Datos of Dan O' Mara 1200 coupe got 1st in the 1300cc to 1600 cc class in 46.07 sec ,
2nd was Robert Souter Jnr 46.25 sec 1000 coupe
3rd was Robert Souter Snr 46.31 sec in the same 1000 coupe .

Steve Draihem also was running his 1200 improved production coupe
Brian Wright in a 13b turbo 1200 ute was 1st in his class ( 4000cc to 5000cc ) with a 42.82 sec run ,
For something a bit different there was a Skyline R34 2wd running a V8 5.7 Gen3 Lsi twin turbo making 500 rwhp , Did a 42.22sec run
