hey guys,

i have cancer covering one of my vents, i will have to cut it out so can you shave the vents off so its just flat. ive seen it done but wat are the consqeunces of it.

Your cab wont vent properly if you do this, my mate did it with a 1600, couldnt stop the rear window from fogging up. Plus its one of those mods that is hard to reverse, keep the vents dude.

how hard is to get rid of rust with keepin it. does anyone kno of a ute were i can cut out this side vent

A good panel beater should be able to make up the section to go in there matey, go to someone that knows how to do proper metal work, theres people out there who can copy panels from a sample so doing what you want is pretty easy.

The vents also join up to inside the body, you can move the vents by venting the tray sides underneath the vehicle.

SA Chassis are good for rust removal I've heard and quite reasonably priced too (haven't tried them myself though).

They're on South Road near the intersection of Richmond road.

if i vented it under the tray wouldnt that rust hell easy. wat if i just removed the venta altogether would it only casue my rear window to fog cause i always always have my window down
