Hey Mat,
where abouts are you? Quite a few guys on this site compete, including benny, r-fastmotorsport, converted, l18_b110, dattoman_1000, ca18det_man, etc compete. Some use hot a series, L series, ca's and sr's. Have a look through their photos. There are all kinds of events, go to the CAMS website for a calendar. There are quite a few people building up hillclimbers at the moment including TnPshow, Whitesedan and myself. What car have you got? the best thing to do would be to go to an event and have a look and talk to people. There is one on the 2nd of december at bathurst and another on the 10th near Canberra. Cheers, ian

i have just bought my pride and joy my "baby" its a 120y two door with an a15 extarctors, performance exhaust, weber with a ramflow filter, and a thermo fan i know its not a great deal but am hoping if feasable for supersprints and hill climbs to supercharge it fairly soon. i am located in wonga park which is in the outer eastern suburbs of melbourne and cant seem to find any races close to me, as i dont have my P's its not easy to convince my dad to take me to meetings that arnt close by thanx again Ian BTW great video of the dats at the track

Man anything is feasable for sprints. I have seen daily drivers & family wagons used in sprints. dont think its all about your car being credible its all about you having fun in your car. You are not racing for sheep stations. just join a club get a l2 cams licence paythe entry fee & see for your self you will have the best time of your life & know speeding fines. Oh & you will meet some realy genuine people on the way that are having as good time as you.
Thats my advice Coops
