Where do we start dude. There are many dudes on here doing similar swaps, myself am doing CA18DE into 1200 ute. Best advice is to do a search (on the left side of the the screen) and check what other people have done. There is also plenty of pice in the photo galary. But to put on a bit of a path to completeion -

-CUSTOM ENGINE MOUNTS

-CUSTOM G/BOX MOUNTS

-CUSTOM PROP SHAFT

-DISC BRAKE UP GRADE

-FITTING EFI FUEL SYSTEM - FUEL PUMP,
SURGE TANK, LINES, FILTER,

-IMPROVE COOLING SYSTEM

-INSTALLING CA18 COMPUTER AND LOOM OR AFTER MARKET GEAR

-WIRING UP GAUGES

The list goes on. There are plenty of aftermarket mobs out there that specialise in conversions, one of the big names is MADDAT motorsport (just google datsun conversions) and there are a few smaller operators like Kev Rowley. Hell just type his name into the search function and you will spend ages reading through what he can do. For now use the search function and see who else has done similar conversions and go from there.

backyardperformance where abouts are you? put where abouts you are in your profile also are your wanting to register the car? cause if you want to i dont think you would be able to cause ca18det are the biggest turbo charged motors that can go into 1200's

well apart from the same stuff as a 1200, which is a fair bit...

there are height issues, with the motor sitting on a 20mm wood block on the crossmember and the motor resting on it the motor sat a little high, there are a few theories on lowering or sectioning the crossmember but none have been tried yet.

lengthwise it shouldn't be a problem, with carefull planning it will all fit.

your last issue will be the tunnel, it will need to be removed and a new one fabricated.

then there's all the other stuff for a CA into old carby motored car conversion
