Ive had both a ca18 in my old ute and a z in my current 120y in many ways the ca is a much superior engine but in saying that the z is good performer with minimal mods ans fits alot easier plus it will be different to all the ca utes out there go oldskool

Mate you cant put a dollar to how much something like this costs, do your research, find your engine and buy a welder, that way you will save yourself a lot of money.

Z18's not going to be anycheaper than a CA, you still have all the EFI to wire up and get working which is most of the conversion cost in the first place.

Go carbs on a CA, that would be different.

Ive seen them in Urvans, not sure what else, Navara's and some other nissan utes have Z22 and Z24's. What is this going into?

z18t's are alot harder to find than CAs, also not that many performance parts for them i wouldnt imagine

A Z series motor is a crossflow L4 motor!

They came in Vannette's, Navaras and import 910 bluebirds. Im sure some other obscure JDM cars too.

Very hard to find any documentation on them apparently.

But i agree, too many people are doing CA conversions! Webers on a CA would be cool tough, ive seen a DCOE FJ20 in a Roadster before!
