What radiator does everyone run? Im having trouble fitting in my radiator,intercooler, and oil cooler(its about 1.5inchs thick). IV got a 13b turbo bridgeport rotary so im trying to go alloy radiator without having to fork out for a custom.

higher density core in a sunny end tanks, electric fan, oil cooler jammed in front of the radiator. Had the bung for a later E series fan switch so spares are cheap. This leaves about 1/4" between the fan and the water pump pulley.

I made a shroud for it and cut out the radiator brace in front a bit to unblock the the core, also made a cover for the space between the grill and the radiator.

never gets too hot and has a good tolerance for being dumb and overheating it ;)

Custom made with PWR core....... best money I ever spent.

Autobahn Stores can order you in a very nice looking polished alloy radiator to suit an S13 Silvia (CA18 type) for $299. It will just squeeze in between the chasis rails. These are distributed by Autotechnica. I tried the S14 one because I wanted the SR20 inlet/outlets...BUT IT WAS ABOUT 50mm TO HIGH, so I had to take it back. Shame it looked very Bling Bling!

I was at winton yesterday and there was a 1200 coupe running with a bluebird radiator. They would definitely keep it cool considering my brothers bluebird keeps cool with an SR20 and standard radiator. Also they are a dime a dozen at the wrecker.

Do you know if this N14/ or bluebird raditor was cooling down an A series engine? as im trying to keep the water pipes as easy as possible.

You can get 2 configurations of outlets on the bluebird radiators. The S1/2 suit an L series and the S3 suits a CA20 which is the opposite of an L series.

i hate to say it mate but if youhave spent all that money and gone to all the trouble of doing the rotary conversion then you had better spend the money to keep it cool. rotaries are very susepable to heat since they are cooled by coolant and oil. you need to keep it cool or it won't last 5 minutes... especially a bridgey! i put a mod vl 5l in mine that was bloked in the middle of each tank for double circulation. cost around $400. i recomend you talk to some knowledgable rotary people before you buy anything. they will know what best suits... where are you maybe i can point you in the direction?? if not then the guy who built your motor would be a good place to start.
