#1 YAY More Radiator Questions
cheater_5 Posted on: 2007/1/3 4:02
Hey all.
Went to my local pick a part here and found an 85 vannette. Has an a15 and colubm(sp??) shift.... engine hasnt been touched i dont think but rest of car has been raped.
It still has radiator and i noticed that it is larger than the standard 1200 one.....
is it the same size as the sunny ones? can you use them on 1200s? or are new mounts needed.

Also so a n14 which still had its radiator. i know you can use n13 ones and the n14 one looked the same just checking if you can use them to, i dont see why not.

This topic has been beaten to death already and i apologise for starting a new one... just wanted to make sure.

thanks all. i value your input.

Chris

don't know what model exactly but I used a A15 vannette radiator in my sunny (don't know whether it would fit a 1200 or not) it was a 3 core and kept the A15 very cool at all times. was a damn good radiator. pity I threw it into a bank and even more of a pity it was still in the car at the time

. Yes, Vanette comes with 60-series transmission "R" version. If it is a 5-speed, you can get a regular 5-speed that need work, and just swap the rear housing to convert it to "FS" floor shift type.
