my girlfriend gets into it a fair bit, especially considering she wasnt into cars when i met her..

just the other day she said she couldnt wait for the nationals this year

i said yeah it will be good but you know there wont be many if any other rotaries there (she's taken a liking to rotor's since ive converted mine)

she goes "nah i know.. everyone has sr20's"

it made me smile

i didnt think that she even knew what an sr20 was...

right. i know of couple of datsun gals, i mean real hard core enthusiasts, but they're quite special.

far more common is the anti-datsun gals, there's a lot of those around.

in fact a good mate of mine may be getting out of datsuns in the future (although he couldn't admit it to himself right now).

My wife LOVES my Datsun, but purely from the perspective that she is the one who writes the checks for our monthly petrol bills...

i'm using my hubby's account...............i'm currently looking at buying 1200 ute..just waiting for the guy to fone so we can organise a time to look at the car b4 sunday!! i was so totally against my hubby's 1200 sedan coz it was crap!!! n he didnt have the time to work on it lol!! but the ute i'm looking at i'll pretty much be doing from scratch! n i have been working at a mechanics for about a yr or so now..took a yr off coz of being pregnant but i am getting ready to go back there!!!

our 5yr old daughter LOVES cars!! hubby took her to the American Car Show that was on sunday at Castle Hill, n she walked up to a car with a HUGE blower on it n at the top of her voice said: "Wow! That's a big blower!!" and she even knows wat they do! she takes after me..prefers cars over dolls!

My little wife tells me that she'll love my 1200 ute..... When I get it finished .

She hates it while it's sitting in her garage. lol
