also what grade do you guys think is suitable for a worked A15 thanks guys

I reckon you can't beat Penrite.
Product available for every application. I'm using HPR15 for my CA18DET. Maybe HPR30 for a modded A15.

I was a Penrite HPR15 user for a long time with my CA18DET but I have recently changed to Castrol Edge 25W-50. I wouldn't see a drama with you using this in an A15 as well.
Coops' suggestion of HPR30 is a good one too. Matty

I would have to agree that the penrite HPR 15 & 30 are very good oils. Although I am speaking from motorbike experience, I use it in my enduro bike which cops a HAMMERING for upto 8 hours a day in an ambient temperature of 40 degrees plus.
If you are going to go the full synthetic option, use a mineral or semi-synth until your engine is worn in. If you use fully synthetic on a new engine, it may work so well your engine will remain 'tight' and take a long time to reach its optimum tolerances, and therefore maximum horses.

Ford recommends ATF in the T5
Can't hurt I guess as long as there is suficient fluid level Some boxes don't run much fluid so I wouldn't use too thin an oil in that instance You can view topic.
