For all you CA people out there, i'm just wanting to know how hot your engines are running. I just fitted a new ASE ally radiator, and my temp. sits about 90deg. with normal driving. Is this what everyones runs at???

Mine sits below 100degrees, but on 30degree days my oil temperature easy goes over 110 after a short 'boostin' session.
My temperature equates to middle line on the datsun temp gauge, maybe 1 or 2 needle thicknesses higher on a really hot day..

where should the temperature be taken?
I've got 2 gauges, one just in the radiator where hot water enters, and one between radiator outlet and the engine. First one shows 100degrees and second one shows 85. Normal? This is on a 4agze though not a ca18.

i have a sensor in the top rad outlet and it reads about 80 for a normal day but if its hot or after a bit of a flogging it sits on 100

so water temp is still 100degrees even after passing through the radiator? That makes me feel better

Oil temp is a problem im having at the track, so at the mo im looking into fitting a oilcooler, but strugling to find at spot to fit it.
Thought about fitting it under the tray, but i think it will be to longer run, and lose pressure. I may be able to fit it under the radiator/intercooler but will have to be wide and short about 500mm x 80mm. Can anyone help me with ideas. Cheers

I'm going the more traditional look, trying to hide all the ugly stuff behind the good looking car.
