yowl guys i have a nissan vanette with an A15. when i rev it out a bit it starvs for fuel and u have to let the motor rev untill it kicks in again, it also cuts out and then back in again when going up hills. i get 3/4 of the way and it farts and coughs and just recent i cant get much over 90km/h i thnk its gettin worse. ive replaced all fuel filters. does anybody have any othe suggestions

I have a pump off a vanette A15 you can have if someone has a blanking plate to cover the hole in my motor? I am running a facet blue pump, they sell for about $90

maybe its the electic side of it.
take off the distributor cap and check how the contacts look, give them a lil sand to remove any corrosion, check the points gap aswell while you at it.
Its either fuel or spark just look around. should find the problem.

Try servicing the carb..it might help..

u sure its lean?wat do your spark plugs look like?white or black?if its running lean id check jets, filter and pump or your fuel lines arnt blocked or partialy blocked.

Try another coil ... mine did that and it was the coil.

yea i recon its fuel cause i have to let the engine rev on when it cuts out (eg like kik startin) or if i pull over i have to crank it a little to get it to start (like pumpin fuel through)

how can i check wether its my carby or a blocked fuel line? also could it be from vaccume in my fuel tank?

had same problem with my A15, going up hills it felt like it was running out of feul or in ur words starving for fuel. but got the engine tuned and it runs sweet!!!!!!!!!!!

Check your timing. If its out a bit it is only notice when the engine is under load IE. going up a hill.
