Yeah, cause you'll need a det computer, pistons, rods, etc. which will cost you just as much altogether as a det.

Nah the DET pistons are what gives it the lower ratio.. not sure if the two have different combustion chamber designs but i think they are the same.. could be wrong so correct me if i am haha
