I woiuld approach turbocharging with a little bit of caution - if the engine has been that heavily work it probably has a very high compression ratio - which will make it difficult to turbocharge.

You might be better off fitting a modern twin cam turbo motor if the worked A15 isn't fast enough for you. Like a CA18 or SR20....

Depends really what you are after - it this a race car, drag car, show car, street car....and why do you want it to go faster - is there a goal or target in mind?

yea i considered the ca18 conversion but the amount of work i would assume is high.......but then again its ben retunneled for the new box so maybe not...wot bout fuel injection or sumthing along those lines

if its already got webers that are in good tune, making up fuel injection for it and keeping it NA wont give you much of a power boost

Doyle, are you revving it high enough? With those parts, if done right it should be running sweet at over 4,000 rpm. Rev her up to at least 6,000 and keep her revved high for maximum performance

Have you had the ute on a dyno to see the sort of torque curve you have at the moment?

Also knowing the compression ratio would be good.
