the anti dieseling soilinod is rooted in my 120y, i have a few other carbies so ill just see if any of them work, but to change it do i just unscrew the old one and screw the new one in? or is there a gasket or an O ring or anything that i should be careful of or that i should look for before i do this?
any help/info would be great. thanks Simon

just a re-useable copper washer. make sure you put it back on or else it will leak fuel! you can put a new one on but not really necisary!
Pretty straight foward job, just unplug, unscrew(19mm from memory), take pin and 'housing' off and renew!

turns out the solinoid is fine. its wasnt getting any power. but my next question is, the yellow wire that connects to the solinoid, is it quite a thick wire? because there is another yellow wire that goes to the temp sender. i think that i could have swiched them by accident once and i need to know which wire is for which.
so i have swapped the 2 (big wire on solinoid) and now the temp guage doesnt work. can someone help me? You can view topic.
