Just curious about the following:
1. How often do you wash your datsun?
2. Is your Datsun a daily,weekender,racer or rally car?
3. What car shampoo do you use?

Mine is as follows:
1. Once a month depending on dust and
windy conditions.Or under good
conditions once every two months.
2. Weekender.No driving in wet conditions.
3. I use a south african car product called
Rally car shampoo. Also use the Rally car
wax.
Wanna try Meguiars sometime in the future.

1. Once or twice a fortnight, depending on dirtiness.
2. Daily.
3. Whatever they put in the do it yourself car wash places lol.

I wash my car before every race meeting, if it's lucky it may get some polish too.
The scrutineers tend to look at grubby cars a little closer, not that they'd find anything wrong

1. I wash mine maybe once every couple of months when it starts to become embarrasingly dirty
2. It was a daily but now once or twice monthly
3. I use the wash station at the servo aswell...

Yea, mine was also a daily until I saw how it got new marks and small scratches onto the paintjob every month or so. So I decided to make it a weekender. Managed to remove most of the scratches with car polish as they were only surface scratches.
I try and wash as little as possible. Rather drive with a layer of dust than wash because I noticed some rust spots appearing.
Not big, very small.
Example the following places:
When opening the boot, all around the outside where the seams are welded together there are little bit of rust appearing.
The seams that are on each side between the bootlid and the back window. They fill them up as I understand with liquid lead.
Well, mine is make hairline rust here.
And then hairline rust marks in the water channel that are running on each side of the roof.
That's about it that I can remember.
It is mostly on the seams. Polish them often to prevent them from growing bigger.Looks like it helps.

id love to be able to wash it just once these days!!!

everytime i take it out.....

about once every 3months when it finally comes out of a shop for a week. then i go and buy something else for it and i have to get it fitted .. the diff will be next then that will do me for awhile. until my turbo blows and i HAVE to upgrade it
