if the plan is a show car, the the roll cage will have to come out.
as far as getting it registered, well i dont think that many cops like seeing cars on the road with roll cages. I know that my bro has had trouble before with the cops with his cortina.

with an engineers certificate it can be registered... but they are going to be changing the rules. But you will still be able to get rally reg, which is what i plan on doing.
Does they car have a CAM's logbook? If it does, the alloy cage is still okay, if not, its useless in terms of rallying as you wont be able to get it recognised anymore. Cheers

I had a 4 point in my old daily, didnt get any trouble for it, I heard from others its fine aslong as the tube is covered with an appropriate material (foam etc) and it cant obscure the vision at all, so 6 point cages were out. That was in Melbourne.
