boozymcstagger Posted on: 2007/8/28 13:15
Hey guys you may have seen this thread before when i posted it in the wrong spot but anyway, heres my 1000 sedan, i bought it granny spec about a month ago and decided to chuck some paint on it and give it some new comfy seats.

This is where im at at the moment. Not too far away from paint. (i hope) Im sticking with white but im throwing in some blue pearl and i will be putting all the granny spec parts back on.

I just scored these soarer seats at a sweet price and am trial fitting them atm its a squeeze!!! They are Lexus ones so they are full leather and electric they weigh a crap load but i like em!!

Ill get some better pics soon
when i got it

let us know how the lexus seats go in. most of the seats that i have looked at for my Daisy are too tall. You can find seats the fit into the floor pan well enough, and adapting the brackets isnt too hard, but I end up hitting my head on the roof, or I am looking through the top 15% of the screen.

They look alful comfy, but I might still just recover some originals.

either wat, let me know.

If you can get them, suzuki cappucino are a perfect fit and designed like a momo but in plain vinyl. Then will need to be leatherised or Elvised in Suede.

I would be getting the original seats refurbished, to keep the originality needed for the granny spec look.

Also I bet the lexus seats weigh at least twice as much as the 1000 seats.

Yeah the seats weigh a ton but oh well ya get that i spose.

I was going to go for a re trim but for the price i got the lexus seats for i couldnt even re trim one of mine, and im trying to do this reasonably cheap.

The height doesnt seem too bad atm and the drivers can still go down about an inch or so, but i am reasonably short so the height doesnt bother me too much.
