Fitting flares on a sedan?

Hey guys,
I was wondering if anybody could help me out with some info on flares on a sedan. I'm in the process of negotiation some 13x7inch hotwires are the moment with a shallow offset which is going to stick them out of the stock guards. Also my rear left wheel arch is rusty so I thought it's the perfect time to stick on some flares. Has anybody fitted the bolt on fibreglass flares on a sedan? Or if not how do you get around the fact that the rear doors come so close to the wheel arch?

Ive beat around the bush with this for so long, I've flared the absolute crap out of the arch inner and outer until it started splitting, now Im just cutting away the back of the door, cutting away the arch and the welding to tie it all back together, there is no other way to get rid of that corner part really, its a bloody pain.

rear doors arent important, bit of weld here and there to keep them shut
then probably reconstruct the whole rear wheel arm....such a crappy design on sedans

I have only had people in the back seat a couple of times but I've been using the back seat and rear foot wells to stick my tools etc in for racing. It would just be a pain in the arse if I couldn't open the doors.
I could probably chop a section out of the fibreglass flares to let the door open but it would then look pretty crap.

as white sedan said hes doing, cutting the door is kinda needed to get any realy benefit from flares
as half the wheel arch is behind the door

all you have to do is cut the flare in line with the end of the door - you don't have to chop a section out of it.

I've seen a car thats had the back doors flared. It was a Toyota Chaser or something like that. It looked really good. It probably wouldn't be so easy though.
