adelaide extreme clutches. $450ish for a cushion button clutch, the best value for money hands down. do not buy exxedy! used one with my CA18det that made 180ishrwkw and lifted the front wheel at the drags with slicks never slipped. have one one behind my sr20det and love it also. have many mates using exedy and they all love to slip!

im about to be running the exedy cushion button brass clutch on mine, although i take on board what u say lagwagon i cannot see how a company as big as daikin/exedy could produce a clutch kit that slipped, did ur mates all have their flywheels properly machined/groun before reinstalling?? did they let the clutch run in before giving it heaps and glazing the surface?? i doubt they would bring out this new product and have it not work some of the highest powered imports in the jgtc use exedy clutches....

yeah its not just one or two, i know of five different guys in different cars running the similar heavy duty kind of clutch and they all slip. not all the time, and i'm not even sure its a fault. all flywheels were machined. i just know i've never heard a bad word about extreme clutches and i have used a few myself. i'll be interested to see if your exedy experience is any different

Hey team,
I only have 140kw so the stocko clutch was fine for me. The heat we get in the tunnel/back of the engine bay because of a slight lack of space can be pretty extreme. I had slip problems until I cut the tunnel out and welded a custom one in. (now I can swap the gearbox in and out in an afternoon with the extra space =) Rock on, Mely
