I found a 1200 that I'd heard about.
It's in good shape - Dark Blue,minor surface rust,factory tach,clean interior.
I kew about this car - but I couldn't find
it until today.The owner doesn't want to sell
it,but will drive it until it dies,then give it to the shop that takes care of it.
It's the only 1200 left around here,that I'm aware of.It was good to finally find it!

Keep talking with the owner every six months or so, to keep tabs on it.

Put something up in the local newspaper, and like ddgonzal said, just keep a tab on it, even every couple of months. im doing the same with a datto at the moment, need it for parts, and the bloke has had a couple of offers, so just make a reasonable offer and let him chide about it
