a12 auto / manual

THIS MIGHT SOUND DUMB...is there any diff between a auto a12 engine and a manual engine... looking at buying an auto motor and wanting to put a manual on it...

I was just looking at my auto 1k, and the intake manifold seems to have an extra vacumn thingie on it towards the front. The engine is a late model a12, that aparently came from an auto.
Not actually sure what it is for... The actual engine, i dont think so.

Technically yes the engine ass'y is different. But mainly it is just a bushing in the end of the crankshaft is needed for the manual transmission. And you need the flywheel..

yeah 2nd all that you just need to block up the vacuum on the manifold and make sure you have a spigot bush in the end of the crank.

thanks... i have been looking for a stock motor out of a ute for ages, but no luck.... i just want to paint my car and drive it............. but no motor DAM
