Hi all just like the topic says, What is a stock
standard A15 motor worth on it's own, all complete.

It's in a vanette which has 3 months rego and four speed column change manual.
The body is quite tidy but the interior is a little ratty .
It doesn't have any SGL logo's on the side but it does have the original 13inch mags on it, and power front windows.
The speedo is reading in the 300,000 klm range.
What would you expect to pay for the whole van, complete with A15?????????

Also like I said at the start. How much would a stock A15 motor be worth on it's own???????

for some reason the a15 is worth more than a a15 powered van.
I paid $400 for mine, which I think is reasonable just for the motor.

With km's that high I'd say $600-700 for the van.
I'm a tight ass, but I'd say $250-300 for a good used engine. For one with 300K's on it $150. My mates c20 just threw a rod at 234K.

Donno what its like over east... But A15s are few and far between in WA. Prob 600-700 for the van. Or $400 or so for the complete running motor.

600 is cheap plus you can put power windows in your Y
just bore it out give it some new pistons, pins , rod bolts, bearings, a water pump , rebuild the head with a set of big valves a big cam.
and it would be as fresh as a daisy and it should last you for years
or throw it in and cross your fingers
