Heater box for datsun 1200 ute

Hi guys,
Had a question about a datsun 1200 ute heater box. I currently dont have one in my car and i need to get one. I have a 120y heater box and was wondering how hard and what needs to be modified to fit the 120y heater box in my ute? If anyone has a 1200 ute heater box they want to sell i am interested too any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Milan

Surely there would be plenty of 1200 sedans in the wreckers up your way?

so 1200 sedan heater boxes are the same as the ute ones?

As far as I can tell, all 1200 cars & Ute's sold in Australia used the same basic heater. While there were some running changes during production, all changes are interchangeable with the previous or former item.

ok great well ill chase around for a 1200 heater box. In the meantime if anyone has a 1200 heater box forsale please let me know.
I have 2 datsun 120y heater box's which i can swap if need be.

how much u looking at paying? i have one sitting in my shed coz im using a 12volt hairdryer for a defroster on the front window
