Freight suggestions from USA to Sydney Australia
converted
Posted on: 2008/4/21 2:23
hey guys I know there are a few people on here who are involved with freight companies.
I was wondering Ive got some boat stuff coming from the USA (Waynesville North Carolina to be precise) and need it shipped to Sydney AUS. Just wondering if anyone had some contacts I can use to do this at a reasonable rate. All the boat stuff is used and dimensions of the carton will be 1000mm x 800 mm x 600mm high estimated weight around 40kg incl carton. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

freight is tough from there.
I found its better if someone can pull apart what you need there and use the under 25kg postage service the post office provides. You have to check the postage details as they do change. here from aus its 20kg max but think us is 25kg max from post office. Yet just from jp 30kg is the max from there

There's not many here from North Carolina, only a few infrequent members. Is Teretonga still there?

Hi DD yes Ian / Teretonga has the parts to ship. I have been sending them there to save all the hassle of freighting each item from the supplier. Also most suppliers on ebay wont ship to AUS hence the collection I have there.
