Hi Guys,
when i bought my coupe it came with what I thought was a weber 32/36 dgav carby. I bought a kit to rebuild it. Whilst some of the parts are similiar, the gaskets etc are marginally different. The body on the carby casing has motorcraft on it. Is anybody able to shed some light as to what this may be. I have searched the net but there doesn't seem to be any info on 'motorcraft carbys' that are similiar to weber 32/36. cheers Bruce

Motorcraft version is made by Holley under license from Weber.
For more details, see: http://wiki.datsun1200.com/index.php/DGV There are lots of small differences. Even various webers 32/36 are different from other 32/36.

I got the A15 running today with the motorcraft carby.
It needs a kit though it as it seems to have a couple of leaks due to deteriorated gaskets. I rang a couple of carby shops and they are available off the shelf. Does anyone have an opinion as to whether It is worth spending the money on this or should I look for the genuine weber 32/36? cheers Bruce You can view topic.
