Fitting alternative seats 120Y

Hello alll. I'm new to the forum and this is my first Datto I'm trying to bring pack from the brink! The seats are shot, your backside hits the floor pan and they're torn so I'd like to replace them with something a little more modern. Can anyone give me some clues as to what other seats might match the attachment points?

ok a '74 *should* have a flat floor, later models had a higher rail on the tunnel side which makes it a royal pain in the ass to fit other seats.
Something like 200b, or even n12 pulsar seats should fit in yours relatively easily, or you could get some aftermarket buckets.

yeah they suck, mine has had the tunnel side bracket cut off the floor, and moved down so its flat.

thanks for the info on the possible seats, if you modify the rails or attachment points are you supposed to get it certified?

Ive got early honda prelude seats in mine and being a 76 i had to make custom brackets for the passanger side that bolt through the floor with sandwich plates took a bit of stuffing around but wasnt too bad

all non standard seats need to be engineer approved, even if you just adapt them onto the standard rails and attachment points. You can view topic.
