#1 CHEAPEST PRICE PAID FOR A DATSUN

Let's have it, what is the lowest price you have paid for a datsun? Free doesn't count. I'll start the proceedings - I bought a 1200 coupe for $10 and drove it home [slightly illegally]

Mike you are prick, you've had free 1000's?!!! Thats insane.

I got my two door for $224.50 with only 36 600 miles on the clock. But shipping it to New Guinea came to about $2400....hmm still hurts now when I think about it. But it's here and thats all that counts!

I've scored a couple at around the $100.oo mark, but that was ages ago when they wher'nt so popular,BUT my most recent purchase was a couple of years ago when i got:1 KB10 complete
1VB10
1x4door B10 and 4 ute loads of bits
$500.00......The KB is now on my avatar, the Wagon did duty for my daughter for a year and is now a trailer car used for dirt sprints and autocross, the 4 door was stripped for useable bits(very rusty)and the bones sent to Sims metal.
There has recently been some talk of selling the wagon and up grading (watch this space)it could easilly be returned to daily duties.
Cheers

paid $80 once for a sunny ($80 too much most would say) for parts, was auto but drove it 40km home, overheated and broke down 3 times ovcer that distance, and $300 for a complete sedan, ended up coming with enough spares for 2 crs but a pillars were rusted through (found that out after driving 80km home).

I paid $10 for a running 180B sedan and when i cleaned all the rubbish out of the interior i found $6 so it cost me $4. it was mint condition except it wasnt regoed. i swapped the engine for an alfa sud and sent the body to scrap, then swapped the alfa for a HG Holden sedan. most of my other datsuns have been free or 500 bucks. does anyone want my 310? $500 running & rego due.

I paid $75 for a 1 owner 1600 with books, column auto, white with red trim... A few or more years later it was on the front cover of fast fours with a VG30 turbo in it. now its black with red leather trim!
Also I got a 1200 sedan for $100 with a GX bonnet, thats the one thats on my green car in my avitar now!

Dont see bargains like that anymore

I picked up a 200B with a 32/36 weber, C210 skyline 5 speed, 260Z electric fuel pump, series 2 bluebird electronic ignition all for the price of a slab of carlton draught. It even had a cool alloy gear nob that he had made on a lathe.
