#1 Shortening 120Y struts, But what shockers to use?

Hey guys,

i just brought sum adjustable camber tops and also sum 7inch coil overs from ground control in USA, which are 45mm diameter to fit the strut

so im looking at shortening my strut seeing as 120y have #### shockers.
im happy to spend around 300 for shockers, seeing as im looking at doing sum track days at mallala next year,

What shocker would fit in a 120y struts?

im car is a Datsun 1200 ute 1980 with a ca18det

has anyone tried this yet?

plzz dnt tell me to use stanza struts or anything else, coz im dnt wanna

i no my brother afew years back tryed daihatsu insert,
not sure what model, but they worked ok......maybe charade....

Mate .Just gone through this drama. Had escort inserts but they will be way to soft if you are going to track days. I had to go to Konis . Twice as much as you want to pay but will be well worth it in the long run. Will be testing mine out at winton in a weeks time. If you need koni part numbers contact me.

im looking at kyb strut brand, monroe are crap..

would these springs come in kyb?
