anyone out there wanna rewire my datto? i dont know whats wrong but its givin me the sh*ts! it runs fine but out of the blue it dies in the ass. ive had enuff. its also gettin mega voltage drop when you try to start it but thats just the pos lead from batt to starter mtr.

Most Datsuns only have a few wires. It sure isn't rocket science.

I can almost guarantee that the big connector under the dash that feeds the wiper motor to the engine bay is all melted and corroded.

You tell us the starter motor isn't grounded properly, that's what causes other parts to fry as the current is serviced by the little wires.

Clean up all the big wires with a wirebrush.

Then you'll need to find out what else has been fried.

having driven and serviced the car recently the ign barrel is rooted. My money is on that or the immobiliser wiring.
