Cant tell you about them. Though we are setting up a mould to make them but its about 2 months away. Will be fibreglass

They are CRAP, they have linish marks in them, bolts dont line up and they are not crome, they are a bad zink coating.
Dont bother unless you are planing on painting them.

If my memory serves me well and we are talking about the bumpers on ebay. Then the seller clearly states that they are a bit rough last time i looked. So doesn't that leave it up to the buyer to choose whether to buy it or move on and search out a really good one ? If they exist anymore.

Thanks Might have to find a guinea pig to test them on a going vehicle. Pretty sure they will need to be played with a bit to get them right and stand up to road use.

Yea the fiberglass sounds good buy im not shore about safety for on road use. Let us know and the $$$ too.

i think painting the bumpers only looks good on certain cars. I have heaps of chrome and dont really like the idea of silver bumpers to try and match the chrome. Maybe colour code and forget the chrome.

If Fibreglass is done properly and reinforced i dont see there being an issue with safety its just as strong if not stronger than plastic and How many cars have plastic bumpers these days.Things like Gun Metal Grey and Hammer Finish Look pretty good. Though looks terrible on some cars to.

Did you guys know that you can get your old tired bumpers re-rolled and rechromed? Most electroplating joints can do this. I got the two bumpers on my Charger done for 350 each and they looked absolutely fantastic. I sent them in and they were dented, rusty, peeling and twisted and they came back better than new.
If you are patient you can find a one-piece front bumper [I got mine from a coupe] and get it done. That's what I'm doing for my wagon when the time comes.
But as everyone is so quick to say, you get what you pay for. You buy a cheap Taiwanese bumper; that's what you'll get. 2 years on the chrome is still perfect on the Charger.
