DOES ANYONE NO THE FUEL ECONOMY FOR A
DATSUN 1200 UTE 1976. FOR EXAMPLE 7.8 LTRS PER 100 KM

i got 300-350 mile to a tank out of my ute. with a bad wheel alignment.

Well, a sedan or coupe gets about 6.2 liters per 100 km on the highway.
Ute has exact same engine and aero frontage, but diff ratio is wrong for economy. I reckon if you changed the Utes 4.11 gears to the car 3.9 gears you get the same economy. Or if you had tall 13" or 14" tires you'd get the same economy...

i got 320 miles out of my sedan and that was abit of city driving but mostly highway
