#1 Electronic Distributor Question

I`m thinking of building an electronic distributor by taking out the electronic part of other car and fitting it into the stock A12 dizzy! has anyone made something like this? if so from what car? The ones talked about in Wiki are very hard to find here!

An e15 pulsar distributor ift's you just hav'to modifie the base plate?? someone in a coutry were there commonish, could probly help you out there not particualy heavy for postage.

I just bought a new electronic distributor from NARDEK they do a compleat pakage for an A series including coil and lead's for $355AUD and they do ship overseas??


Allso the petronix's kit is small and cheep, there is a link in the tech section, I think.

How did you find the Nardek kit, was it a straight bolt in? I am just in the process of ordering one myself.

Thanks Roconnor, but i was thinking something cheaper, take the electronic ignition module, and wiring it up in the A12 dizzy! I`ve heard petronix is good and cheapest way, but i`m trying to keep my budget low as possible!!

He used VW distributor internals in a A14 distributor to get elec ignition.Think it will also work in a A12 distributor.

Pm lotto he is also in portugal, he has been using a 1.1 fiesta distributor with a-series drive gear.

Recived my nardek kit today, look's the goods but havent got a running motor to try it on at the moment
