hey guys i need some advice before i tilt tray my ute to an auto electrician..... she wont fire.
the dash lights, stereo, fuel pump all work but there is absolutly no starter motor action. as far as i know all wires are good i had a relay repaired and fixed a broken wire to the dizzy, battery is charged but starter wont fire at all. has anyone else experienced this? i am the absolute worst when it comes to electricals.

find the closest all metal screw driver, pick it up
then use it to connect the big battery wire on the starter motor to the small pin on the starter motor...it should kick over, this means your wiring or relay is dead if it doesnt kick, youve either touched the wrong things together or the starters dead

thanks heaps PIGDOG ill give it a shot tomorrow after work. my bet is its the dodgy wiring its as old as i am and as i said i fixed one snapped wire and a relay already.
this begs the next question... if it is the starter where do i get another one for an A15?

Sweet, Thanks WhiteSedan. So I've got 3 to choose from. If you need one. You could also start singing Wake Me Up Before You GO GO but that may kill it for good.

clean up all the wiring contact to the starter including the big lug and small ones, if it gets dirty that happens.
its not just worn brushes? theres not the big click of the solenoid?
